Ahh…the patter of little feet! What a wonderful time of life you’re about to experience. You’ll probably find it’s a time when you feel bombarded with information and need to adjust to some big life changes and make some ‘life defining’ decisions.
You may start to feel overwhelmed by all your choices but as always we suggest you just take it one step at a time. Initially your focus will be on your physical wellbeing and medical matters, but once you’re comfortable with all of this you can turn your attention to how starting a family will change your life …and this includes the impact it will have on your finances.
As you’re likely to have some time off work to have your baby this will have an affect on your financial position, but planning will help you manage and minimise the impact of these changes.
As with any life journey your situation will be unique to you and the choices someone else makes may not be right for you. We have all the information you need and the steps you need to take, to plan for the changes you’re going to face as you go through this stage.
It’s important to meet with us so we can review your situation before you go on parental leave and we wish you all the best with this life-changing journey.
Have you considered?
Remember just take it one step at a time and we’re always here to help if you need a hand.
